Apprenticeships

​Apprenticeships are a great way for ex-service personnel to reskill and gain qualifications while getting hands on experience.

From cadets and service children (at least 16 years of age) to service leavers and spouses there are options for everyone. They can be undertaken by anyone at any level, from NVQ level to Master’s Degree.

Local organisations

These local organisations have signed the Armed Forces covenant. If you make it known you are from the Armed Forces Community they will be able to direct you appropriately:

• University of Northamptonshire
• Goodwill solutions have a learning academy dedicated to apprenticeships and run a variety of different courses and employment support on completion.
• The Open University are a great supplier of apprenticeships at degree level. Their new disabled Veterans Scholarship fund provides injured service men and women with access to free Open University education.

Many of our partners provide apprenticeships in a range of administrative, clinical and management courses.
