Volunteering is a great way to help your local community, build your CV and create new social networks.
It can be a few hours a month or a few days a week. The variety of different roles is huge and ex-military personnel have a great range of skills that are highly valued by the voluntary sector.

Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire, based in Northampton, offer support to voluntary groups and can assist in finding the right volunteer role for you.
The Royal British Legion and
SSAFA are very active in the county and always on the lookout for new volunteers to assist our veteran community and their families in time of need.

Volunteering with young people
To volunteer alongside young people, develop new skills yourself and support young people to grow and develop themselves, there are various organisations you can join. All those listed below have local branches within Northamptonshire:
