It's always great to work with noble causes like the Armed Forces Covenant, so we were thrilled to visit an event at Northampton General Hospital last week and celebrate the incredible sacrifice of our veterans.

The event was first class and was a fitting tribute to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War, as well as veterans of all other conflicts.

Whilst there we were able to chat to a few people about what we do at Futures Housing Group, and how we're helping people live independently in their own homes for longer.

Futures offers a whole range of services related to housing in addition to managing the 10,000 homes across the East Midlands, with independent living focussing on giving people the tools and technology to access support if and when they need it.

Having recently gained a Technology Enabled Care Services Association (TSA) accreditation, we are a recognised provider of assistive technology services, which gives our customers the confidence that they're in good hands.

People of all backgrounds use our service, from older people to those living with mental illnesses who need a little reassurance and people with disabilities. It's about having peace of mind that there is someone there if needed.

Working alongside trusted charities and groups like our friends at the Armed Forces Covenant, helps us to reach out to more people and tell them our story – and if it sounds like something that they, or their family or friends, could find useful, we can help.
