The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust is running an exciting programme giving small awards to communities who struggle to attend rememberance activities due to financial barriers.
As the centenary of the end of World War One approaches, communities across the United Kingdom are thinking about how they can commemorate and bring people together.
This award scheme is aimed to help communities access silhouettes that bring to mind those who went to war and did not return. The silhouettes can bring a community together helping them to remember and think about the Armed Forces Community.
As part of the award, communities will need to hold a self-funded event that brings the local community together to remember and think about the Armed Forces Community today.
The Armed Forces Covenant Community Fund Trust will make awards to community organisations who need help in obtaining silhouettes. Each organisations can apply for up to 10 silhouettes.
Applications close on 30th June.
