SSAFA - the Armed Forces charity - is the UK's oldest tri-service military charity and the charity is now looking for a new Chair who will take the branch forward and continue to support the Armed Forces community across Northamptonshire.
The Chair oversee all aspects of the branch, ensuring the branch is running in-line with SSAFA's policies and regulations to ensure that clients and volunteers are safe, all services provided are appropriate and effective and that the branch is financially sound.
You don't need a military background, but some experience of managing people and some basic IT skills will be needed for this role.
SSAFA have a comprehensive training and support to help new volunteers get up to speed, develop their skills and ensure their volunteering is enjoyable.
